dear folks, the workshop is ever so near. tomorrow even!

the loose schedule so far is to start the zine readings just after 12 o’clock so if you wanna hear the readings, don’t be late! the workshop itself should start around 1pm. but if you can’t quite make it before that, it’s ok we can always repeat ourselves ; and most of the workshop will be practical zine making anyway!

WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING WITH YOU:

if you have an extra typewriter or a laptop you can bring along, that would be great. if you have any text you want to print out to use in the workshop zine, hopefully we can use the main printer at coFWD for a few pages, providing one of the regulars isn’t busy using it and/or it’s not run out of ink. we have a functional typewriter available at the workshop but the more the merrier and all!

more importantly, please bring scissors and glue and pens and paper and anything you would like to / don’t mind someone else cutting up to use as comp zine page material (magazines, old books, wrapping paper ANYTHING) but most importantly scissors, glue and pens. we’ll be bringing some scissors & glue & pens but you really don’t wanna fight over that stuff at a zine workshop! same with paper. (better safe than sorry!)

also please bring some cash to pay for your workshop admittance. it’s a measly £2 but if you wanna give us more as donation we definitely won’t say no. the money is for the room rent + supplies and the printing costs of the workshop comp zine which i (tukru) will print on monday after work & mail a copy out to everyone who took part in it, yaye!

we will also be setting up a small temporary zine library so you can read some zines for inspiration during the workshop and additionally there will be a small vampire sushi distro stall where you can purchase certain zines to keep and take home.
